I had a string of Christmas lights and I was searching to find where I could recycle them and coincidentally, my neighbour’s children are doing a fundraiser by collecting old or not working Christmas lights!  The lights will be taken to Elice  recycle, in Victoria

and they will be granulated to separate the plastic from the copper, then the copper will be recycled and plastic will be treated in the appropriate manner.

If you have any you would like to donate, please let me know and I will give you her address, or arrange to get them from you.

This is awesome!  One more thing to be kept out of the garbage.
