The Green Diet is not just about recycling, composting and eating organics, although that is a big part of what we enjoy doing. The Green Diet is about fun, family and friends, healthy living, balancing your life and what we do in a day and the impact we make on the environment.
It is inspired by my passion to create a reference for people to find information that will help them to do the same. We only get one shot at a good life and a big part of our life is a result of the choices we make. Our choices have to consist of “everything in moderation”. We aren’t perfect, we can’t save the world, but we can make a huge difference by the little things that we do every day and how much we care about ourselves, our communities and the environment.
The Green Diet includes great information that revolves around choices we can make from the time we get up in the morning until we fall into bed at night. It’s a way to promote local businesses that we need to support because these are the people that live in our communities and depend on us as we depend on them for food, clothing, and so much more. I’m not saying you shouldn’t shop at a big box store. I believe that there is room for both. I just want people to be aware of the great locally owned businesses that we have and take time to learn why we need to shop there and experience the great food and products that they offer.
